Operation Shred-Day 1

I woke up feeling stoked for this challenge of mine.  I did the 6:00 am upper body Bootcamp at Addicted Fitness.  Stacy measured my body fat percentage for me this morning- it’s 12 percent.  This number will most likely not change much but we wanted to check it out for the sake of curiosity.  I got home from class at 7:00 am and ate 4 scrambled egg whites with a side of raw veggies.  By 9:30am I was starving and starting to get a headache.  I was warned this might happen due to the fact that I am cutting sugar out of my diet (I usually eat loads of fruit)!  Snack #1 of the day-10 almonds and a protein shake made with water.  Lunch at 11:45 chicken breast, tomatoes and snap peas.  By 2:15 I am f@cking starving, I feel a headache coming on.  2:45 I get home and eat an entire can of tuna (packed in water) on cucumber slices with a side of carrots.  3:45 go to Oranj Dance Fitness to teach bootcamp.  5:15 again starving!! Get home from bootcamp and eat a ton of fresh raw veggies.  I am noticing that after I eat I feel great, I feel super light and don’t feel bogged down or too full.  I am hungry much more quickly but once I eat I feel fine almost immediately after.  I stop by my boyfriends office where he is having an open house, this means 1. Wine 2. Chocolate. 3. Pizza 4. Cheese.  Only four of my favourite things, I am quickly learning temptation is everywhere and you have to make up your mind and stick to your guns!

I decide to remove myself from the situation and hit up Cosco to get my supplies for the week.

Get home from Cosco 7:30 pm eat 4 egg whites and an arugula salad with avocado, tomato, cucumber and balsamic vinegar.

11:00 pm get into bed an notice that I have loads of energy despite having a crazy busy day and normally feeling wiped out by this time!
